[Practice Philosophy] My Practice philosophy is to treat each person in a way that honors their body and spirit and "listen" with all my senses so that I can help them become stronger, healthier, and more at home in their body.

[Why I do what I do] I have found both bodywork and the mind/body disciplines of yoga and pilates to be physically and emotionally transformative. They are revered practices I have received from many teachers. For the nearly twenty years that I have explored these practices, along with studying several styles of dance, they have helped me recover from pain, injury and illness. I want to give these gifts to as many people as I can.
[A little bit about me: hobbies, family, interests] I have two young adult children, who have flown far away from the  nest. So I now indulge my 5 dogs like my children! Not to mention my farm animals. I have deep gratitude to my non-human companions for their loyal and furry presence during some of the longest , coldest, and loneliest nights of my life. Along with yoga, they have helped me be comfortable being by myself, and keep me smiling with their funny personalities. My husband, who claimed he didn't like children or dogs when I met him, also adores them!

I am also a swimmer and a cyclist, though yoga and pilates are my first loves.
